Tennis and pickleball share one set of webhook fields in ScoreCastr, but the numbers mean different things in each sport. This page lists the fields, shows how to send tennis points and advantage, and explains which field holds games won in pickleball.
Before you start
- The Pro plan. The ScoreCastr button at the top of the tennis or pickleball Scoring tab opens the Data Hub.
- A webhook turned on for the match: on the Scoreboard OCR tab, pick HTTP Client (Webhooks), click Enable ScoreCastr and copy the Webhook URL. See Send live data by webhook.
- Scoreboard OCR users: see Connect Scoreboard OCR. Request format and replies: Webhook API reference.
Away is the first player or team from match setup (player 1); home is the second (player 2). Field names are case sensitive. Fields you leave out keep their values.

Tennis values
- Points are the numbers the scoreboard shows: 0, 15, 30, 40. Send 50 for advantage; the dashboard shows ADV and Apex and Primetime show AD.
- In a tiebreak, turn
tiebreakon and send the plain point count: 0, 1, 2 and so on. - Games are games in the current set. Sets are sets won.
How ScoreCastr scores tennis on the dashboard is in Tennis scoring.
Pickleball values
- Points go in
away_scoreandhome_score: the rally score, like 7 and 9. - Games won go in
away_gamesandhome_games. Pickleball has no sets in ScoreCastr; the games count is what ends the match.
away_games_won or home_games_won for pickleball. The webhook accepts them, but they write to the sets field, which the pickleball dashboard and scorebugs don't read. Use away_games and home_games.See Pickleball scoring for the game and match rules.
How a finished set is recorded
For tennis, when the total of sets won goes up by exactly one, ScoreCastr saves the games from the previous update as the finished set. If those games were 7-6 or 6-6, it also saves the tiebreak points and records the set as 7-6 for the winner.
So send games after every game, add one set at a time, and send the set and the new 0-0 games together when a set ends.
Example body
Tennis, second set, advantage to the away player:
{
"away_score": 50,
"home_score": 40,
"away_games": 4,
"home_games": 3,
"away_sets": 1,
"home_sets": 0,
"serving": "away",
"tiebreak": false
}
Pickleball, game two:
{
"away_score": 7,
"home_score": 9,
"away_games": 1,
"home_games": 0,
"serving": "home"
}
MMA and swimming
MMA and swimming matches have no ScoreCastr button, so you can't get a webhook URL for them. Score them from the dashboard.
Fix common problems
Points show 1, 2, 3 instead of 15, 30, 40. Send tennis points as 0, 15, 30, 40 and 50. Plain counts are only for tiebreaks.
Pickleball games don't move. Send games won in away_games and home_games.
A finished set is missing. Sets must go up one at a time, with the games sent before the set changes.
