Free, Starter, Pro and Enterprise: what each plan includes

Scorebugs are free for every sport. Starter adds the full graphics set, Pro adds data feeds and commercial breaks, and Enterprise removes the match limit.

ScoreCastr has four plans. Every plan runs live scorebugs for all twelve sports; the paid plans add more graphics, more matches at once and ways to bring in data. This guide explains what you get on each, where the locked parts show up in the app, and how to change plans.

Short versionFree ($0) gives you the scorebug and one active match. Starter ($10/month) adds every graphic, Apex and Primetime, stats panels and saved teams, with 10 matches. Pro ($25/month) adds the Data Hub, StatsCastr and commercials, with 25. Enterprise ($50/month) is unlimited.

The four plans at a glance

Plan Price Active matches Best for
Free $0 1 Trying it out, one game at a time
Starter $10/month 10 Schools and clubs that want the full broadcast
Pro $25/month 25 Crews running many games or scoring from data
Enterprise $50/month Unlimited Leagues and networks with many streams

Prices are in US dollars. The pricing page and checkout show your local currency: USD, GBP, EUR, CAD or AUD. The free plan needs no card.

Free

  • Live scorebugs for all 12 sports, in the Classic template
  • The scoring and clock controls for your sport
  • Your overlay links for OBS, the Live Preview and the Pop Out window
  • Share Match (a public match page) and Download Box Score for soccer, football and field hockey
  • 1 active match at a time

On Free the scorebug is on air from the start. You can't show other graphics or use Go to Break, because the Overlay Visibility panel is a Starter feature.

Starter

Everything in Free, plus:

  • The full graphics set: scoreboards for breaks and the final, title cards, lower thirds, talent, player bios and stats, lineups, keys to the match, game stats, the scrolling ticker and a logo watermark
  • Overlay Visibility: show or hide any graphic, and Go to Break
  • Customization: every graphic's settings, including Channel Assignment for Channel 1 and Channel 2
  • Apex and Primetime templates in your colors. See Switch templates.
  • Stats panels on the dashboard: team stats, QB and player stats in football, batting and pitching in baseball, fighter stats and judges' scorecards in MMA, and the Match Statistics panel
  • My Teams: saved teams with logos, colors and rosters
  • Stream Deck shortcuts through Listening Mode. See Set up a Stream Deck.
  • 10 active matches

Pro

Everything in Starter, plus:

  • ScoreCastr Data Hub: live data from a webhook, an XML file or a Google Sheet, with automatic field mapping
  • StatsCastr live stats: link a StatsCastr game so live player stats flow into the Player Stats graphics
  • Commercial breaks: under My Commercials in the account menu
  • 25 active matches

Enterprise

Everything in Pro, plus unlimited active matches, and dedicated onboarding and support.

How locked features look

You'll see the paid parts of the app on every plan, so you know what's there:

  • A locked panel on the dashboard is greyed out, with Premium Feature, the plan it needs and an Upgrade Now button.
  • Apex and Primetime show a lock in the template picker on Free.
  • My Teams and My Commercials show a lock in the account menu.
  • The ScoreCastr button on the Scoring tab shows a Pro badge.

For the full side-by-side list, see Compare plans.

How active matches count

Your plan sets how many matches can be active at once. A match counts toward the limit for 24 hours after you create it. Over the limit, you'll see "Active match limit reached" when you try to create one. Delete matches you no longer need to make room sooner, or upgrade. See Run several matches at once.

Change or cancel your plan

You choose a plan right after you sign up. To change it later:

  1. Click your username at the top right, then Billing & Plan.
  2. On Billing & Subscription, click Upgrade plan (on Free) or Change plan (on a paid plan). Both open the pricing page, where you pick the new plan.

What happens next:

  • Upgrades take effect straight away. You pay the difference for the rest of the billing period.
  • Downgrades start at your next billing date. You keep your current plan until then.
  • Cancel subscription on the billing page keeps your access until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, the account moves to Free.

Manage billing opens the payment page where you update your card. Invoice history lists your past payments.

Checklist

  • Plan picked for how many matches you run at once
  • Starter or higher if you want graphics beyond the scorebug, or Go to Break
  • Pro if you bring in data, StatsCastr stats or commercials
  • Finished matches ended so they don't count toward your limit
